What to do if you find a lost pet not on this registry?  If the animal is friendly and allows you to approach safely you can keep the animal safe until you can either find the owner with it's tag or ask about it on our KP Facebook page or the 

NextDoor app. If you cannot approach it, take a good photo and post it and the location last seen.  If you were able to get the animal in to your car and could not find the owner, you can take it to a vet clinic to see if it is chipped and you can contact the owner.  If not, you can take it to a rescue center like  New Leash on Life or the Huntsville animal shelter.
